This month’s meeting will be May 18th at 7PM in the Parish Center.

I know Spring is just around the corner but the road getting there is looking longer all the time. Looks like tomatoes won’t go in until June 1st.

The Holy Saturday reception, which was supported by the Men’s Club and Young at Heart, was a huge success with over 125 people attending. There were lots of jelly beans, hard boiled eggs, cake, and cupcakes to go around.

There was some discussion at April’s meeting about whether we should go to a Twins or Saints game. We will decide this month which one it will be and if it is the Twins, there will be a signup sheet to start reserving tickets. This year’s Twins event will be Friday, July 22nd. The cost will be $40 per ticket and will include a meal at the Parish Center beforehand and a bus ride to and from Target Field. Because we will have only 50 tickets, Club members will get first chance at them but you must be signed up and the reservations paid for by the June meeting. After that, we will offer them to the Parish.

There is still lots of room for anyone wishing to go on this year’s fishing trip to Mille Lacs on June 10th. Cost is $65 per person and there are about 15 openings still left. Let me know if you are interested or sign up at the meeting.

The Club’s next Friendship Sunday is June 12th`. Help is always appreciated after both Sunday Masses. Stop in if you can.

The Picnic at Central Park is coming up as well on June 26th. Lots of help is always needed on the grills and serving line. Last year’s event was huge and we are expecting the same this year.
