This month’s meeting will be September 21st at 7:00pm in the Parish Center.

I am sad to report that since our last meeting, two of our members have passed away. Both Dick Huberty and John Zimitsch had been members for many years and will be missed. Memorials in each of their names have been sent to the St. Vincent DePaul Society.

Our annual Booya is coming up on October 1st and 2nd. As of right now, we will be cutting vegetables after the 5PM Mass on Saturday. We will cook all night and begin serving at 7AM Sunday morning. All help cutting, stirring during the evening and serving the next day is more than welcome.

The Archdiocesan Holy Name Society is having their annual meeting and raffle on October 24th at St. Albert Church in Minneapolis. The Board has decided to purchase 20 raffle tickets at $5 per ticket. Since most of the membership received 5 tickets, if you are not going to use yours personally, please bring them into the meeting for me to use.

Young @ Heart is hosting a Lasagna luncheon on September 20th at Noon in the Parish Center. The cost will be $9.00. If you are interested in attending, please call your reservation in to Marlene Blatzheim at 651-770-0138.

Our September meeting is going to concentrate on recruiting new members. If you know of anyone that might be interested in joining the Club bring them along. We will be serving Tin Cup’s chicken and coleslaw for our snack.
